On select Fridays throughout the year, the Idlehurst Learning Collective offers Farm Fridays, a hands-on enrichment program featuring two three-hour sessions centered around STEM education and agriculture.

Each session explores a unique farm-based theme through engaging, real-world activities such as gardening, animal science, beekeeping, food production, engineering challenges, and homesteading skills. Students learn by doing, developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical life skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Farm Fridays are designed for curious learners who thrive when education extends beyond the classroom and into meaningful hands-on experiences.

We offer two small-group sessions each day, 8:30–10:30 AM and 10:30 AM–12:30 PM, with limited spots to keep the experience intentional and engaging. This is a parent-attended program, and we ask that you and your children come dressed for the farm in durable, closed-toe shoes, and bring a water bottle and snack
Cost is $25 per a participating child.
